Paragraph on why I chose Plymouth~
One of the reasons I chose Plymouth is because unlike Jamestown settlers Plymouth included women on their trip. Women didn’t have to go they weren’t forcing them to go but I thought well they at least they got a choice. The second reason I chose Plymouth was because they never had a problem with Native Americans, and the reason that’s such a big deal is because my family has a little bit of Indian in us so that’s important to me. Another reason I chose Plymouth was because they didn’t have a king ruling over their life so they could be practicing their own religion not a religion someone is forcing them to practice and obey. Also something that really stood out to me was that people that took sail on the Mayflower had to take a risk to have a better life. All of the pilgrims and puritans that took sail on the Mayflower were brave, strong, caring, helpful, risk taking, leaders that took a risk between life or death and chose to take a risk to see what a better life felt like.
